Just so you know.....

if you are busy making supper and realize you haven't seen or heard from your almost 3 year old for awhile; you should go find him.

This is the cute, yet very guilty face I found hiding downstairs in his sister's room. This is two containers of lip gloss smeared on and why I hadn't heard or seen him in awhile!

Talented

While combing through Ella's hair I encountered several knots which is not uncommon. I told her that she was quite talented to have that many knots in her hair. Her reply, "Mom, I'm not talented, I can't juggle!" Apparently to be talented you have to know how to juggle!!!

All about goats!!!

This last weekend we had the opportunity to go to a goat farm. We went to Elma for the long weekend and Trav's sister had some friend that operate a dairy goat farm.
The kids started off by seeing and throwing hay at the actual milking goats. Then they got a chance to see the two week old kids. We finished our time there by going to hold and see the goats that were a week old or less. All three kids loved holding the goats.
We put Koleson in one of the pens holding the goats and he loved it. In fact he was so comfortable that had sat down with them!

As you can see and hear they loved the goats!!!

Throwing hay to 'feed' the goats!

Snow!!!

Everyone was very excited at our house when we received about 5 inches of snow on Monday. I don't think anyone was as excited as Kole though. He got a new snow shovel awhile ago and hadn't had the chance to use it. He likes to shovel. Here is Kole shoveling off the top of the retaining wall for us!

Master of Education!

Travis has finally finished his Masters in Educational Leadership. He made his presentation on December 7th. I got the chance to sit in on the presentation and listen to all the hard work that he has put into his degree. Then on December 17th we journeyed to Cedar Falls for the graduation ceremony. We are so proud of him!!!

Walking into the ceremony.

Picture time after the ceremony.

Highlights of Christmas break

We had a wonderfully relaxing Christmas break. The kids had lots of fun opening and enjoying the gifts they were blessed with. We took the kids swimming three times. Twice to a local motel pool and once to Kings Pointe in Storm Lake as part of their Christmas gift from us.

Our family on Christmas Eve before we opened gifts!

Addi got really good at going across the floating circles!

Ella has gotten braver and braver. Here she is going down the water slide with Dad. Later she did it by herself.

Cheese!

Tearing into and showing off presents!

All the great grand kids with Grandpa and Grandma Eason.

Joy to the World

Kole has turned into quite the singer in the last few weeks. I have heard "Go tell it on the Mountain" as well as "Silent Night." His favorite is "Andheavenandnature sings!" Aka Joy to the World. Here is a peek of him singing.
