All I want for Christmas.....

is my two front teeth.
(I told Addi this would be the last missing tooth photo we take, but she looks so cute this way that I had to take one last picture!)

Fall Fun

Here are some pictures from the last month or so. The girls made carmel apples with Grandma Pauline. Ella enjoyed her's so much she ate the whole apple including the core.

The girls also carved a pumpkin with Daddy! Ella loved touching the goo inside. Addi was not so sure of the whole thing. I think they were just as excited that Dad let them sit on the table as they were that they got to carve a pumpkin!

Finally this is Addi with one of the pilgrim hats that we made this week. She had to bring something about the pilgrims for show and share. I couldn't think of anything, but this cute snack. Only problem was that homemade treats are no long allowed at school. So I got special permission from the teacher and then we individually wrapped each hat with a note that said it was from Addi. Amazing how much things have changed!

Kole is growing too fast :(

In the last few weeks Kole has just gotten so big. He sprouted his two bottom teeth so no more toothless grins. He has also started shaking his head no, thankfully he doesn't really understand what it means. He just likes to do it. His biggest accomplishment is that he is no longer immobile. He could get around by rolling, but that wasn't fast enough. He can now crawl as you will see below. The sisters are quickly learning they can't leave things on the floor.

More Ella-isms!

Ella came down with a fever again, but that doesn't mean she is without her usual spunk. It has just slowed her down a little bit. Once that medicine kicks in she is good to go.
The other morning Addi and Ella were in the bathroom getting dressed for the day. All of a sudden we heard yelling so Trav went to check it out. He found a naked Ella telling Addi don't look at me, that is not acceptable.( I guess she listens to us, because sometimes we tell her that her behavior is not acceptable!)

I was reading her a book the other day and she informed me that 'this is super-tastic.'

Addi Ann, Toothless Wonder

While driving home from Grandma's house on Sunday Addi worked and worked at wiggling her front tooth. The car ride was a little quiter because of this. When we got home she continued to wiggle in the mirror and finally got the tooth out. She was so proud. The tooth even went to school for show and tell yesterday. We don't believe in the tooth fairy at our house, but Daddy asked her if she wanted to get paid anyway. What kid is going to say no! She made a dollar on this tooth and has collected $3 already for missing teeth.
Addi celebrated fire prevention week at school a few weeks ago. They did all sorts of fun things. We even had to practice a fire drill here at home and go to our meeting spot. The week ended with a trip to the fire station where she got this excellent hat. She was thrilled.

Coming Out of a Fog

Yes it's been a long time since I have posted. Things have been a bit crazy here the last couple of weeks. Addi came down with H1N1 and was out of commision for the better part of two weeks. Trav, Ella and I got lighter versions of it thanks to Tamiflu. Then just as Addi was getting better Koleson came down with it. So I have been stuck home for two weeks, but we are all healthy now yea! There have been many things going on besides the sicknesses so hopefully I can start to post on a more regular basis again.
