Kole's New 'Talent'

Kole is crawling all over the place very quickly now, but this week he has also started telling us no. All we have to do is pull out a kleenix to wipe his nose and he will start to shake his head no. Just yesterday he started pulling himself up on things and is already getting more confident and less wobbly.

We made some Christmas goodies today and I told the girls they needed to have their hair up before they could help. Addi volunteered to do both of theirs. This is how it turned out!

School Christmas Concert

Last night was Addi's Christmas concert at school. She was so excited. During our snow day she needed to try on her dress and shoes to make sure everything fit just right. Then she practiced jumping in her new shiny shoes to make sure that they didn't make too loud of a 'cloppy sound.' Trav asked Addi how she was feeling about the concert. "I am so excited Dad. I just love to get up in front of all those people and sing." I guess we don't have to worry about stage fright with this one!

I think she got a little ahead in the actions as she is the only kid with her arms in the air!

Fall Fun

Here are some pictures from the last month or so. The girls made carmel apples with Grandma Pauline. Ella enjoyed her's so much she ate the whole apple including the core.


The girls also carved a pumpkin with Daddy! Ella loved touching the goo inside. Addi was not so sure of the whole thing. I think they were just as excited that Dad let them sit on the table as they were that they got to carve a pumpkin!

Finally this is Addi with one of the pilgrim hats that we made this week. She had to bring something about the pilgrims for show and share. I couldn't think of anything, but this cute snack. Only problem was that homemade treats are no long allowed at school. So I got special permission from the teacher and then we individually wrapped each hat with a note that said it was from Addi. Amazing how much things have changed!

Kole is growing too fast :(

In the last few weeks Kole has just gotten so big. He sprouted his two bottom teeth so no more toothless grins. He has also started shaking his head no, thankfully he doesn't really understand what it means. He just likes to do it. His biggest accomplishment is that he is no longer immobile. He could get around by rolling, but that wasn't fast enough. He can now crawl as you will see below. The sisters are quickly learning they can't leave things on the floor.

More Ella-isms!

Ella came down with a fever again, but that doesn't mean she is without her usual spunk. It has just slowed her down a little bit. Once that medicine kicks in she is good to go.
The other morning Addi and Ella were in the bathroom getting dressed for the day. All of a sudden we heard yelling so Trav went to check it out. He found a naked Ella telling Addi don't look at me, that is not acceptable.( I guess she listens to us, because sometimes we tell her that her behavior is not acceptable!)

I was reading her a book the other day and she informed me that 'this is super-tastic.'
